Welcome to Our World
Early this morning at 12:40 am - I gave birth to a precious baby girl. She weighed in at 8 lbs 2 0z and was 19 1/4 inches long. More info when I get home.
I just had a "feeling" I should visit your blog this morning...and sure enough BABY GIRL HAS ARRIVED!!! Congratulations, Robin!!!! All is well??? Sounds like a nice size little baby...a good one to hold and snuggle!! But how did you manage to make a post from the hospital after the baby arrived? Laptop?

I'm so very, very happy for you. What a way to end Thanksgiving weekend!!!! Hope delivery was without complications.
Robin is so blessed, she walked in the hospital at 11:45 and had my niece at 12:40 a.m. 11/30/08, she sounds like she is doing great, O Robin is doing great to. She must have a computer with her.
Oh Robin, congratulations! I can't wait to see pictures of your new daughter. I have something I want to send you, send me your address to my email. May God bless you and your new family with a the special gift of joy and peace each day. Be so very blessed. Love to your whole family.
How thrilling - and early too! I'm sure you're very busy with the new little one...and I'll bet she is beautiful. So glad Rob updated us about the baby. Yeah, congrats!!! You know, that height and weight is exactly the same as my daughter's when she was born...23 years ago. Anyway, I can't wait to hear what you named her.
Katie shared the great news and we are THRILLED! The pictures were beautiful and I cannot tell you how much she reminds me of her brother and sister. Their faces all resemble each other so strikingly!

Carol - I may told you that I chose 11-30 as my delivery date and will post more on that later. You have good intution! Both my kids are completely in love with their new sister.
Rob - Thanks for posting - yes I had my little girl 55 minutes after getting to labor and delivery. A God thing! The ladies were chuckling in Labor and Delivery after I gave birth - they said she comes in saying she's not sure if she's in labor and has a baby in her arms 55 minutes later. Just to clarify on that I have back pain a lot... so it explains me not knowing...

Queen - Yes she is quite the treasure and present. I'm in awe of the miracle of life!!!
Moms - I mainly skipped making Thanksgiving dinner because of I was concerned that I could go into labor and didn't want to waste the meal... I was hoping labor would hold off until the 30th of November though and will post the whys for that date soon...
Tiffany - Thanks :) I can't wait to post more just to find the time to gather my thoughts...
Ruthie - Your great-grand baby joined our world the beginning of the week and my little one at the end. Life is precious!
Chelley - I tried to call you yesterday, but no answer or machine. I'm addicted to this new little life already well I was addicted from the moment of sight well not really then either - actually from the moment I knew life grew within...and it just keeps getting better...

Papa - Yeah James Jr. turned out to be a girl. I really thought she was a girl from pretty early in my pregnancy.
Tammy - Time sure flies doesn't it I bet you feel like you were just holding your baby girl. I know I feel that way about my 8 and 5 year olds too. When I took her in to the pediatrician 3 days after her birth they measured her at 20" and said they must have messed up in Labor and Delivery by not stretching her to her full length. They don't think she grew 3/4" in 3 days... So now I don't know whether to tell people she was 19 1/4" or 20" or just tell both with the story...

Oh... my brother said I must have taken a computer with me to the hospital - nope don't have a laptop. My hospital room's TV was equipped with internet, but I couldn't access my email just a couple of the free emails were available and blogger, but I'm near sighted and the TV was so far away that I had a hard time seeing the text, so I just posted a quick announcement.
I'd love to get pics! you can email me at its dot his dot story at gmail dot com. Thanks! :) We're doing well. I'm 33.5 weeks now so the twins will probably be here sometime in the next 2 to 5 weeks.

I am so happy for you, Robin!! I've not been good at keeping up with the blog! I haven't had much time to be on the computer blogging, etc... busy with my little angel and my two bigger angels. Taking care of a baby and homeschooling is quite the task, but we are making it.
My last post on this blog was a picture of my little one and my friend's twins taken on January 4th, but that is the only picture I've posted so far. If I get a chance I will attempt to email pictures to you sometime this week.
