Krispy Kreme will celebrate National Election Day by offering all retail customers with an "I voted" sticker a free STAR shaped donut with patriotic sprinkles.
Starbucks - If you vote, Starbucks buys your coffee - On November 4, 2008, Starbucks will give voters a free tall brewed coffee at participating U.S. stores. After voting, voters must go to a Starbucks store, where they’ll be given a tall (12 oz) cup of brewed coffee at no charge (limit one per customer).
Ben & Jerry's - wants to celebrate democracy by giving out a free ice cream scoop from 5 to 8 pm today.
If you haven't voted, get out and vote because YOUR VOTE MATTERS!

Chipotle..with sticker..I voted..a free burrito! mmmm
Oh Chipotle - I've been wanting to try them... I will add them to my list :) Thanks Mel!
I don't like donuts (I know how un-American) or coffee. Ice Cream is my weakness, but I don't think I'd make a trip out just for a scoop of ice cream.
Mel, I looked on-line and couldn't find info re: the free burrito on election day... One thing I came across said that if you bought a burrito on October 31 and came in on Election Day you can get a free burrito, but I couldn't find anything on the Chipotle website.
My friend, Cammie just sent me an email that said:
I heard on the radio that Chick-Fil-A has a free chicken sandwich for those with a "I voted sticker".
Wow, love that businesses are encouraging and rewarding voters. I had no idea.
Off to vote soon!
THANK YOU, Robin.
Your welcome Tiffany :) I've been hearing different stories from people across the country on length of time to wait to vote. I hope you are able to vote without too much trauma.
Wow, I'm surprised. Too bad Starbucks is 24 miles away, one way, from us. Too bad I can't have gluten; I could use a good donut! :) I think it's great businesses are doing that, too.
Andrea L.
I'm not getting any freebies today either Andrea, but if someone can great :)
To bad we couldn't get all this tomorrow...either to celebrate or drown our sorrows in food. :) Just kidding.
I heard it from my sis and bro in Colorado.
mama and papa's votes are in !!
Mel - Yeah I hear you... I heard the lines were almost as long at some of the freebie places listed here as there were at the poles and some places longer.
Papa - Glad you voted!
we voted
but we would have to make a 100mileround trip to get that free stuff :(
I voted too, but it would have been more of an inconvenience to go get the freebies even though those stores are less than 5 miles from my house.
Are you far from everything or just fast food? We can get pretty much whatever we want in less than three miles from our house, but we don't have sidewalks everywhere or great public transporation.
we live way out in the country, and have to drive a good trot,
depends on which ya want to go,
just one way, one town is 17miles away , another is 25 miles away
but to get to a big city one way would be 50 miles! ;)
have a blessed day!
Hi Jel,
I used to live in the country too and it was so peaceful... In many ways I miss that.
Trusting in GOD's answer for our nation.
Thanks for the visit this morning. Have a great day!
Tiffany - I'm trusting God too!
why/how did i miss all of this!?!
You poor girl :) But if it makes you feel better I didn't feel like going out to take advantage of it. I'm also not big on donuts or coffee... If I find out about any other freebies you know I will post about them :)
