What is your vision for America?

I was reading in a current events forum and came across at link that asks for our vision for the President Elect and how he should lead the country. I'm not sure what will happen with the ideas that are submitted, but it sounds good in theory. Submit your vision for America here. I'd also love to hear about your vision in the comments section.

Papa sounds like a nice place to live - can I live there too?

If you move next door we would have to get along. Mama says she would baby sit for free!

I'm sure we'd get along :) I think it would be neat to live at a camp ground. Oh, but when do you head South? I think the robins have all flown already :)

Hey Robin, my vision is to bring our country to a point of appreciation of the freedoms and liberties we have, but not to take that so far to the point of not following the laws God has made clear to us. People think that freedom means to do whatever you want to without consequences. I am fearful that God will no longer bless our country if we don't start to appreciate all the blessings we currently have. If our country does not enforce Biblical principles (i.e., sanctity of life, marriage between one man and one woman, good stewardship of our money) God will not bless us. President Elect needs a little fear of God in his life. That's my two-cents for now. Be blessed.

When Indian Lake Papa stops in Corbin, KY, he will be stopping in the city from which we chose the name for our first born son...Corbin Kyle. Just liked the sound of it.

My vision is simple...righteousness rules...life becomes fair...God wins. One day my vision will become real. PTL!

Life Adapted - I so agree and want what you want...

Papa - I'm not allowed to travel more than an hour from home now because my insurance (HMO) stipulates that if I deliver anywhere besides the hospital they have approved (unless its a local emergency) they will not pay a penny. So guess that visit won't happen, but I have family in KY - wonderful aunt and uncle. My uncle is a preacher turned carpenter (he still does some preaching, but doesn't have one church). My aunt is a wonderful teacher. I'm blessed to have them both as family!

Your son's name is neat...I like the way it sounds too. I still don't have a name if I happen to have a boy baby... At this rate I'm going to have to take the name book to the delivery room... Your vision for our country is great too - many of us have similar visions.

Need a name? I guess "Indian lake papa" is not in the running is it, bummer.

I doubted you would be traveling much!! LOL Maybe next year, unless you are in the same condition - heh heh!!

Papa - actually I'd like a J name, so you could be in the running :) We have the girl name all picked out, but since everyone thinks its a boy - I'm working hard trying to figure one out that both my husband and I can live with and hopefully won't disturb the little one too much :)

Papa - I think we've agreed on a boy first name - now we are working on a middle name... This was last night on the way to our hospital tour. We've never gone on a hospital tour before, but we always went to our little local hospital. The hospital I have to deliver at this time is larger. The process to get checked in is a bit silly in my opinion. Remember I will be in labor - go in the main entrance - wait for the elevator - go to the second floor - pay co-pay and register (at least I'm pre-registered) - Then take my paper work and head back to the elevator and wait again - then go to the third floor and check in with labaor and delivery... sounds like a process I'd rather skip. Both times before it was one stop at labor and delivery and pretty quick at that. I'm not worried I just think the process is a little odd.
