Laura came to church this morning while Mark stayed home with Daniel. He had another seizure early this morning, but Mark and Laura are handling it with grace and peace. This morning in Sunday School Laura testified to standing firm in Jesus. Daniel is their treasure and they are thankful that God has blessed their lives with him - as we all are.

Father,
I lift up Mark and Laura to you. I lift up their ears. I ask that you would close them to the discouraging voices of the enemy, whether that be in the form of comments made by humans or the form of thoughts that ramble through their heads. I pray that their ears would be attentive to Your voice, the Voice of Truth, the Voice of power, the Voice that brought forth a universe out of nothing.
I thank you that they have the peace to stand. I ask you to show them if they are to have the vision to take land that has been stolen. I ask you to speak your words of healing into their hearts, and I ask that it would be so clear that they would not question it but know with all they are that it is your word.
I ask you to give them YOUR vision for Daniel, the levels of healing you desire to do, his divine purpose, and their paths in this journey.
Order their steps. Give them peace to know they hear from you. Protect their hearts and minds against condemnation and questions flung at them by the enemy. Give them faith not only in you but in themselves as followers of you. The enemy wants them to second-guess. Give them assurance.
Lord, as they walk through this with amazing peace, thank you for their tenacity in clinging to your character.
Give them a word in due season and meet them in the night hours in new ways that make your presence known to a greater degree.
You are beautiful, and Daniel is made in your image. Thank you for allowing us a glimpse of your beauty in this wonderful young man.
