Daniel is out of Surgery

Dr. Yaun with Laura immediately following the surgery.

Dr. Yaun checking Daniel's incision after surgery in ICU with Laura.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who have been praying for Daniel today. I just spoke with his brother and he said that Daniel just got out of surgery 20-30 minutes ago and is in recovery. His parents haven't been able to see him yet. Please continue to pray for Mark and Laura and Daniel and the whole family.

Daniel resting peacefully.

Update from our Pastor's wife:
Robin,

Pastor and I went to the hospital and were able to be with Mark and Laura while Daniel had his operation and according to his Doctor everything is going well and they are pleased. Daniel was still very groggy when we left but was resting peacefully. He was holding on to Laura's hand tightly so we think he was somewhat awake but just couldn't quite open his eyes. Mark and Laura thank everyone for their prayers, and they are still welcomed.

I just got an email from Daniel's aunt and she said:

Daniel is in recovery under the anesthesia still. The doc said the surgery went well.

Very glad to hear that the surgery went well. I am continuing to pray that the Lord watches over Daniel and brings great success from seizures. I will continue to pray for the whole family. God is good and holds Daniel in His hands.

Love, Laurie in Ca.

Thank you so much for letting me know you had updated on Danel. I told my husband last night I wanted my blog to play the songs yours played. I kept it on your blog for the longest time just to hear the music. Most of those are my favorite songs and just blow me away with their meaning... and I have such a passion for prayer, and my husband and I have both been involved in extended fasts, and I have such a passion to lead others in these things... I think we are very much alike. :-)

Hi,

I am a fellow classmate of Mark at NBC. He has kept the class abreast on Daniel's situation. Know that we are all praying for his recovery and have included him in prayer chains that are far reaching.

Hi Robin, I appreciate the update. Daniel's story hits home to me as my nephew has a seizure disorder. He started having seizures at about 3 mos, following a round of vaccinations. He is now 11 years old and is severely physically/mentally impaired. I am praying continually that this will help him. Please hug his mom and dad for me when you see them and let them know how much we want to see Daniel Healed!
