Daniel has his PICC Line
I spoke with Laura a while ago and she said that Daniel got his PICC line with no complications and he is playing happily now. Laura will be instructed on the use and care of the PICC line and hopefully they will all be home tomorrow. A home health nurse will meet them at home and give more direction. The doctors said that Laura's quick identification of the area on his head that is infected kept him from getting a bone infection and/or a brain infection.

We will continue to pray for this special child of God! Hopefully they can keep the infection in check.
I am glad to hear everything went well. PICC lines are great. Better than regular IV's. And they can get blood without poking him which is a plus. Caring for it isn't so hard once you get the hang of it either. Hope he gets to go home soon. I will continue to pray.
Siscaboo thanks for keeping up on the prayers. My daughter had a PICC line for a month last year when she got a bone infection from a paper cut - CRAZY! The home health nurse was great with explaining everything I needed to know and she did the blood draws twice a week through the PICC line. When my daughter was in the hospital they drew blood sometimes more than once in a day which wasn't fun, so the PICC line was a blessing.

I am so thankful that Daniel is on the mend. I continue to pray for healing and that his seizures will lessen as he heals.
