Please pray for my little friend, Suzanne (9 months old). She is having surgery this afternoon at 12:30 (Eastern Time). Nearly two weeks ago she was rushed to the hospital via ambulance when she stopped breathing while eating. She has several medical issues. Once they stabilized her they transported her via helicopter to a bigger and better hospital where she is now. She is scheduled to have two surgeries today and possibly a third depending on how things go.
I will update in the comments section when I hear from her mom how surgery went later today! Pray also for her parents and big brother. Thank you for your prayers!

Thanks for your prayers Melanie - they are a wonderful family!
Thanks for being such a faithful and caring friend to all you know and meet, Robin. I will lift little Suzanne and her family up to the Father this morning as I go into my prayer time.
Praying for Suzanne. I hate to see little ones suffer! Praying her parents will have peace, the Lord will carefully guide the surgeons, and that she recovers well for God's glory.

(sorry I haven't been around much, we are recovering from Hurricane Ike but doing well.)
Carol - Thanks for your prayers - I like the picture of you and your grand-daughters you have for your avatar now - very cute! Your prayers are greatly appreciated!!!
Andrea - Sorry I've been busy too... I will be in touch at some point... Did you have a lot of damage from Ike? Thanks for your prayers for Suzanne, her family and the medical professionals. This family is wonderful and your prayers mean so much!
I will definately pray for her.
Thanks Ruthie - if everything has gone according to schedule she should be heading to surgery as I type.

Randi - praying for Matthew and his mom, Karen and family. To hear of the suffering of small children just breaks my heart. Jesus loves them and has great plans for each of their lives.
Suzanne - little one - we are praying for you. God loves you and you are His child.
Julie and Papa - thank you both for your prayers for Suzanne. I still haven't heard from her mom yet. Keep praying!
Robin,
This is completely off your subject, but I have a blog question for you if I may. Under your profile, you list the blogs you read. How do you add that there?
Thanks, TB
Update on Suzanne -
She didn't get to begin surgery as scheduled because there were some emergencies with small children today that required the OR. She went in about 3 1/2 hours late give or take a few minutes. So it was a LONG day for her family.
She had all three procedures done during her time in surgery. Lisa said that everything went really well. She is back in the PICU (intensive care) until she is off the ventelator. Please continue to pray for little Suzanne and her family. It's still a long road. I will update more as I know. Thank you all for your prayers!
Tammy - to answer your question... go to blogger.com and log in with your email and password and it will bring up your Blogger Dashboard where it lists your blog(s) then scroll down to where it says Reading List then click on ADD. A Screen pops up and you enter the URL of the blogs that you read. Just follow directions from there. Hope that helps!
Robin, I prayed earlier, tried to post a comment and it was blocked somehow - am now praying for her complete recovery, in record time. God can and does answer prayers - He is not limited - so I pray big. Give our love to her family and let them know how precious Suzanne is to us. Be blessed.
hello Robin,
thanks for telling us about Suzanne,
blessings
Life Adapted - I think Blogger may have had a problem last night because I too was blocked from making a comment on someone's blog and ended up emailing her instead.
Thanks for praying BIG! Suzanne's family appreciates it and so do I!
Hi Jel - thanks for stopping in. Please keep Suzanne in your prayers as she has an uphill journey ahead!
Hope you are doing well!
Keeping Suzanne in our prayers - and you as well as you are carrying my grand baby! lol
Robin - whats an update on the boy earlier this year that was having the seizure problem? How is his family?
Papa - thanks for your prayers for Suzannne and for me and the little one (AKA your grand baby).
Daniel is the young fellow that we are still praying for. He is still having seizures, but hasn't had any for the last couple days which is great because he has been having many seizures a day for quite some time. His surgery didn't correct his problem. Laura, his mom is going Monday, October 6th to the doctor to discuss changing his medication and a VNS (Vagul Nerve Stimulator) and making a decision about which to do. Laura is thinking most about changing the medication. Daniel is doing well now that he is home bound. His teacher comes to his house three times a week to work with him individually. This week has been good. Laura said it's been his best week in a long time. She thanks you for asking and especially for your ongoing prayers.
We will keep Daniel in our prayers for sure!
Papa - thanks for your ongoing prayers for Daniel. His mom was so touched that you asked about him!
How is Suzanne this morning, any news?
I remember praying for this sweet girl. Sad to know she has to have surgery. Lord, please grant the doctors wisdom to perform these surgeries with percision. And please heal this sweet child and allow her to live a healthy life for you. Give comfort to her family as they wait. In Jesus name, amen.
I haven't talked to Lisa (her mom) since Wednesday night after surgery, so I will update again when I know more.
Tiffany - thanks for your prayers. She had her surgery Wednesday the 1st of October late afternoon because of some emergencies that came into the hospital. She was scheduled for 12:30. Keep praying for the miracle!
I spoke to Suzanne's dad last night and he said she is out of PICU and back in a normal hospital room. He said she is doing well, but they still don't have a projected date for her to leave the hospital. Keep praying!
I just realized I haven't updated in a while... Suzanne is home now. She eats 6 times a day via her stomach tube. She had several medical professionals come in to work with her - physical therapist, occupational therapist and nurses. Please continue to pray for this precious little girl as her journey continues. Pray also for her parents and brother as they continue to make adjustments in their lives and care for Suzanne.
