Prayer Request

Pray for me - I've had a hard day - really exhausted and have been having Braxton Hicks contractions all day long - too early for labor - still have six weeks to go as of Saturday. I'm trying to get ready for the floor guy to come and install a new kitchen floor tomorrow along with my normal responsibilities and I'm worn out. I'm babysitting right now and as soon as the parents get here I'm taking a nice shower and hoping that will make me feel better. Thanks for your prayers!

You take it easy - or papa will drag you out of the shower and spank you good - if I could get you over my lap! LOL Watch for fumes if they use adhesives tomorrow! Praying for you - and i have a switch too!

Papa - Hey... I'm actually planning on leaving the house the whole time they work and taking the kids with me... Pray that all is well tomorrow and I have no problems. Rick will be staying here with the workmen. The floor is our amazing Christmas present from my in-laws. We've really needed a new one for quite some time, but car repairs and other expenses have kept getting in our way... You know you deal with the critical first... Thanks for your prayers, but keep the switch :)

I'm praying.

Yeah, a bit early, but if it encourages you at all, I was dilated to a 3 at 34 weeks and having mild contractions. The doctor opted not to use drugs to stop labor as they do affect the baby. He looked me in the eye and said, "Jerri, we don't lose 34 week babies. Your son may have a hard day and be in the hospital a week, but unless something else is seriously wrong, he will be fine."

Robin, my son is now 8, and all is fine. So, releax. Don't get the blood pressure up. Just lie down and let your body rest.

Big hugs!!!!

Oh, yeah, Robert was born 10 days early--not 6 weeks.

I have been thinking about you Robin. I have been busy with other stuff around here and away from blog reading. I pray that all goes well for you! :)

Hey Robin,

I will certainly be praying. I wish I lived close by so I could take the kids for a day and make you dinner. Please just order a pizza and cut up some apples (keeping it healthy) and use paper plates. Deep breathing while reciting the Serenity Prayer helps, too. You have a lot of people who love and will be praying (me included).

Be blessed

Mom - i have never met Robin - someday, if she keeps misbehaving - we may meet at the shower door! I would bring my switch! actually - I think she is a pretty good daughter! lol

Heidi - Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

Mel - I went to a friend's yesterday and loafed on her big comfy chair with my feet on a big comfy stool - it really helped :)

Jel - Thanks Jel - I have about 8 more crazy days to go and then I should have relative calm???

Jerri - cool about Robert being born only 10 days early instead of 6 weeks. My friend who is due the same day as me had her water break yesterday at the hospital while going from one appointment to the other and they admitted her. She is carrying twin boys. If she goes into labor they aren't going to stop her. They have given her two doses of steroids and said the lungs will be fine if the babies come early. They are hoping for two more weeks if possible... She is on bed rest in the hospital now. Please keep Lynetta in your prayers! Thanks!

Andrea - thanks for your prayers! I understand busy... We do let ourselves get over booked at times... It's been a while since I've been at NN too because I just don't have the time - also it was getting too intense in the current events forum...

Life Adapted I appreciate you and your words of wisdom... 8 more busy days then hopefully I can slow down... I don't want to meet Papa's switch... I did turn down some activities even though it would have been more convenient for others for me not too...

Heather - thanks for your prayers - much appreciated... Keep praying and pray for my friend Lynetta and her babies too - mentioned them in a previous comment.

Julie - thank you too for your prayers. The physcial demands at least should be minimized now that most of the hard work is done for the kitchen remodel. I do have appointments on Monday with two workmen fixing some things that weren't done correctly yesterday. Pray all goes well with the repairs...

Papa - Yesterday I was gone all day - wanted to keep me and the kids out of the house during the floor replacement. I'm sure the workmen appreciated not having little people around. We left early in the morning for a friend's house and I stayed there and rested for 2-3 hours then drove home. Her house is an hour away. I left my daughter there for a birthday party and they brought her back today. She got to go through a corn maze for the birthday party.

Moms I'm locking my bathroom door so Papa and his switch can't get in. Papa and I "met" through a mutual friend's (we both know from the real world) blog. I started commenting to him from my friend's blog because I liked what he had to say and we've been communicating ever since. I look forward to meeting one day.

Ruthie - How is your grand-daughter doing her time is coming near for the delivery of the little one. How exciting :) I'm about to take you up on your advice to put my feet up and read a book. I LOVE to read... I'm going to leave the house the way it is for now - work some more later... and just relax. Oh pray for my friend, Lynetta mentioned in a previous comment. She is also due on December 6th, but with twins and her water broke yesterday.

Papa - I'm trying to behave I really am, but its hard with the responsibilities that I have to take it easy, but as I said to Ruthie above I'm going on break in a few minutes... :)

Robin - if papa ever had to take a switch to you - he would cry harder than you. Papa could never do that, love you. Mama and I both pray out loud for you each evening. Maybe even a brief prayer now and then throughout the day!

Our kitchen floor is finally done. The tile guy had to come back today and regrout. Then we had to stay out of the kitchen an additional five hours so it could dry.

Tomorrow the carpet guy is coming to tack down the carpet on either side of the kitchen because the tile guy didn't know how... So after that we are done with the big part of the project - now I can take my time getting everything rearranged and put back where it belongs.

I also started working on packing my bag for the hospital - still have some things to wash and gather, but I'm working on it.

My friend who is due with twins the same day I'm due is in the hospital still and no babies yet. She did start having a few contractions today, but not enough to move her to labor and delivery. Keep Lynetta in your prayers and her boys that are cooking - James and John.

Papa - thanks again for your prayers whenever they come!

Hi Robin,

Sorry to know you've had those lovely Braxton Hicks. Hope you are feeling better now.

Thanks for stopping by my teen fashion post and commenting. I am STILL sick over this. Need to call or write the manager.

Thank you for your faithful support to my blog. I always appreciate hearing from you and learning how you are doing.

May the Lord be your comfort during these last 6 weeks.

In His grip,
Tiffany

Tiffany - thanks for your kind words as always! I just posted another prayer request for a friend from my church and due date buddy...

Your post on the teenage clothing is CRAZY (well not your post, but the fact that its out there).

Thanks for your friendship!

My grandaughter is doing well - getting big and looking forward to her delivery day in November. Thanks for asking.

Hi Ruthie - Right after I sent my last reply to you in the post above I thought oops I didn't check on her grand-daughter and then I found this message. Glad things are going well for her - so exciting!

Please continue to keep me in your prayers - this morning when Lynetta called and I answered the phone I had no voice and ended up having to whisper for our conversation until I developed a somewhat manly sounding low voice. I've been drinking hot tea (and I don't even like tea) to try to get my voice back - it's helping some. Today I'm planning to nap as much of the day away as I can after I get back from church.
