Prayer Request
Please be in prayer for my mother - Debbie - she is in surgery now (started 11:00 am) having her third complete knee replacement (same knee). She was quite scared last night when I talked with her. She is in Cleveland, Ohio. The surgeon told her because of her host of medical problems that she could die during surgery. The surgery is supposed to last from 3-5 hours.

Thank you all for your prayers for my mother. She just got out of surgery and they plan to keep her in the recovery room for about 2 hours. Then in the hospital for 1 1/2 weeks. Please keep her in your prayers because the recovery is difficult and she is in a lot of pain even without the pain of this surgery.
We will keep her in our prayers. Remember the God who makes those beautiful leaves cares about us. Worship Him today! Worship is a verb, not a noun!

Hi Indian Lake Papa,
Its nice to "see" you here. I always appreciate your comments on Jake and Jessica's blog.
My mother is doing ok - still in a lot of pain. She was moved to a regular room earlier today (well its after midnight here, so yesterday). She will have physical therapy in the hospital until Wednesday or Thursday. Then she will begine the 8 week rehab from home. She has many health issues including being an insulin dependent diabetic, so she needs ongoing prayers. Thanks for asking and caring!

Prayer is something we can all do! We all need prayer and prayer is a vital "habit" (Max Lucado) of a Christian.

My mother is doing much better - she has more range of motion in her knee now than she did pre-op. She is still battling a staph infection though - so she could use continued prayers.
