McGruff House

Has anyone heard of the McGruff House Program? Recently we went to National Night Out in our city and learned about the McGruff House. I remember as a kid in the late 70's of a program where families went through background checks and then put stickers in their windows to indicate they were a safe house that a kid could use if a stranger or something bad was after them. I don't remember what it was called, but the sitckers were little blue eye balls.

Way cool!! Some of my neighbors have McGruff stickers on the windows that look pretty old. I'll ask about them.

Neat to know that this type has been around for a while De. LA thanks for looking into it for me. My town is trying to get several McGruff houses on each street - I'm so excited!
