Thankful Thursday...

Its only two weeks until the day when most Americans find themselves sitting around a table with friends and loved ones sharing what they are thankful for...

This is to help prepare you for that day...

What are you most thankful for this year?

* If you are interested in doing a Thanksgiving study - Nancy Leigh DeMoss has written a lesson called "A Week of Thanksgiving." May God encourage your hearts as you reflect on HIS goodness to you.

I am mostly grateful for my closer relationship with my Savior, wife, family and friends. I am not trying to be trite, It really has been a trip this year! Never a spiritual year like this one. Several personal crisis this year that have been dealt with much more effectively because of my closeness to Jesus. He is close you know!

I am so thankful for everything. I am thankful for my relationship with my Father God. I am thankful that I see well, walk well, and talk well. I am thankful for my family and a great relationship with my husband. I am thankful for the mountains and the view as you drive west on Uintah. I am thankful I get to worship God freely. I am thankful I am free. I am thankful I can afford a cup of Starbucks once and awhile and for my clothes I wear. A van that works well..I could go on and on!

I am thankful for my Savior Jesus, for breaking my chains many years ago from alcohol an drugs. I am thankful that Jesus forgives me even when I mess up and act like I have it all together. I am thankful for my wonderful husband, I am thankful that Jesus has called my husband into the ministry and that my husband's heart was open to the invitation. I am thankful for my loving twins and the sweet things they say. I am thankful for my ten year old son, who is blind, autistic and has epilepsy, thank you Lord for making my ten year son just the way you saw fit to bless my family's life and cause us to grow stronger in You. Thank you Jesus.
