What is your role? Where is your hope?

I read a short book a few months ago called "Epic: The Story God Is Telling and the Role That Is Yours to Play" by John Eldredge. It asks the questions and points us to the answers.

I asked Jesus into my heart when I was a small child and I still have much to learn. God has brought situations into my life that have given me the opportunity to increase my faith in HIM. This book helped me realize afresh that I can't place my hope in people, relationships, money, health, or anything other than Jesus Christ alone.

Purpose and Reason for Life?

What is really important in life? What is the meaning and purpose for our time spent on earth? Is the end of our life on earth the end of our life? I believe there is a purpose and a reason for all that we go through in this life. I believe that life doesn't end with our death - it is merely a doorway that we pass through into the real world. What is that real world? Eternity somewhere is that real world. Eternity in heaven with Jesus or eternity in agony in hell. Starting there... Knowing that life on earth is like life in the womb, how does it change how we live now?
